Activation Codes
Activation codes allow workers to self-register and join your organization without manual admin intervention.
What are Activation Codes?
Activation codes are unique codes that you can share with workers to allow them to create their own accounts and automatically join your organization. This streamlines onboarding, especially for large workforces.
Creating Activation Codes
To create a new activation code:
- Go to Settings > Activation Codes
- Click "Create New Code"
- Configure the code settings (see below)
- Click "Generate"
- Share the code or registration link with workers
Code Settings
Configure how each activation code works:
Usage Limit
Set how many times the code can be used. Use "Unlimited" for open registration.
Expiry Date
Set when the code expires. Leave blank for no expiry.
Default Site
Automatically assign workers to a specific site when they register.
Default Role
Set the default role for workers who register with this code.
Auto-Enroll Courses
Automatically enroll new workers in specific courses.
Sharing Codes
There are two ways workers can use an activation code:
Registration Link
Share a direct link that pre-fills the activation code. Workers just complete their details.
Manual Entry
Workers visit the registration page and enter the code manually during sign-up.
Managing Codes
From the Activation Codes dashboard, you can:
- View all active and expired codes
- See how many times each code has been used
- Deactivate codes to prevent further use
- View workers who registered with each code
- Generate QR codes for easy sharing
