Understand how certificates are generated, managed, and verified in WorkSafe.
Certificate Generation
Certificates are automatically generated when a worker completes a course that has certificate generation enabled. Each certificate includes:
- Worker name and details
- Course name and description
- Completion date
- Expiry date (if applicable)
- Unique certificate ID for verification
- Company branding (logo, name)
Certificate Templates
Customize your certificate templates to match your brand:
Branding
Add your company logo, colors, and name to certificates.
Layout
Choose from landscape or portrait formats.
Signatures
Add authorized signatory names and titles.
Custom Fields
Include additional information relevant to your industry.
Certificate Verification
Each certificate has a unique ID that can be used to verify its authenticity:
Online Verification
Third parties can verify certificates by visiting your verification URL and entering the certificate ID. This confirms the certificate is genuine and shows its current status.
Certificate Management
Manage certificates from the worker profile or certificates dashboard:
- View all certificates issued to a worker
- Download certificates as PDF
- Email certificates directly to workers
- Revoke certificates if needed
- Track certificate expiry dates
